Our restoration glass is a faithful reproduction of period glass ideal for use in historical buildings. The method of drawing glass was used prior to the manufacture of float glass. Restoration glass is a vertically drawn, sheet glass which is clear and colourless. It has an irregular, surface appearance which is typical of many C18th and C19th windows.
Available in two thicknesses - Goethe™ 4.5mm and Restover™ 2.75mm.
Restoration Glass can also be used in our Westcountry Heritage Units. These are bespoke slimline double glazed units developed for use in period and historical buildings. If you would like to know more about our Heritage units please contact us.
